It’s Tuesday Again! Time for Some Random Thoughts

Tony’s phone plays the theme from Halloween whenever his ex calls. It makes me giggle every time.

Amanda’s Quinceañera (15th birthday party) is starting to become a thorn in my side. It’s scheduled for 4 April and Tony’s ex has YET to talk with the priest to make sure the church is available for the mass.

After planning Quinceañeras for both girls, I’m really hoping they elope. Heck, I’ll PAY them to elope!

I hate DVDs. It doesn’t seem to matter what we do, they ALWAYS get a scratch on them. I think I need to invest in a disk resurfacer.

I read an entire book on Thursday night. I can’t remember the last time I did that. I paid for it Friday morning when the alarm went off at 5:15am, but I enjoyed every minute of it!

One of the action officers I work with stutters. Badly. He’s a nice guy, but it takes him 10 minutes to say anything. Most times I don’t mind, but sometimes it irritates me. And then I feel bad that it irritates me.

If you’re go through the express lane with more items than the stated maximum, at least have your form of payment ready when the cashier finishes scanning your items. Also, it would be helpful if you didn’t argue with the cashier over whether or not you got your discount (it was painfully obvious to the rest of us that you did). You’re not the only one in line and the rest of us are in a hurry too.

I fell asleep at 9:30 last night. Actually, it was before 9:30. We were watching Two and a Half Men…the last thing I remember was Alan’s girlfriend walking in on him in bed with her mom. I remember nothing after that until Tony woke me up and told me to go to bed.

Tony’s been going into work at 5:30 in the mornings, so he’s been getting up at 4:30. Unfortunately, I’m pretty much up at 4:30 too. I spend the next hour trying to get a little more sleep, but it doesn’t work.

Amber didn’t sleep in my room last night for the first time ever. She even got up around midnight, got some water from her dad, and went back to Angelina’s room (it’s too cute…they’re sleeping in the same bed!).

  2. Uck, 4:30? That’s terrible, that time shouldn’t even exist on the clock.

  4. What book? I’m always looking for one of those where you just sit down and zip through it.

  6. Everyone at the grocery store sucks (other than us, of course).

I need to figure out how to put charming rings on my cell phone. I should just save time and ask my teenager to do it.

  7. Oh! What book did you read? I know what you mean about paying for it in the am, but it being totally worth it! I had to get up by 4am for my last job, and after awhile I really enjoyed the quiet and stillness in those early hours (it helps if you think of it as an extension of your evening-especially if you identify with yourself as a night person, which I did-lol! So cute that your girls sleep in the same room! 🙂
