I think I’m in love…

With a coffee! I am NOT a coffee drinker, normally. I definitely canNOT drink regular coffee unless I’m desperate for caffeine. Really desperate. Really, really desperate. I CAN drink the frou-frou iced coffees and am especially fond of the Frapuccinos from Starbucks. During the warmer months, I probably hit my local Starbucks at least once a week for a grande Light Mocha Frapuccino with no whip (all for just 3 Weight Watchers points!).

Last weekend my friend was visiting and she was craving a Starbucks hot chocolate. It was entirely too cold for my normal drink of choice, so on a whim I decided to try the Peppermint Mocha Twist (nonfat, no whip). It was love at first sip! It’s the perfect combination of peppermint, mocha and coffee. Don’t ask me how many Weight Watchers points it has becaues I. Don’t. Freaking. Care. I first tried it on Saturday and have had one every day since. I have driven out of my way just to make Starbucks on the way to wherever I was going just so I could get another cup (since it’s on the way, I may as well stop in…).

I think I have a problem. Seriously. I may need an intervention.

At least I can feel good about myself as I feed my habit…it’s one of their RED products so a nickel gets donated to charity for every drink I buy. So really, I’m just doing my part. Yeah, that’s it. I’m not addicted, I’m merely bettering the world I live in.

  1. Starbucks claims another victim!

I can’t drink any coffee … at all. I will, occasionally, have a Starbucks hot chocolate or the also have some sort of apple cider drink that is good too.

You can tell I don’t go much – I don’t even know the name of it.
