Jen at Sprite’s Keeper and Michele at It’s a Dog’s Life posted pictures of their pantries today. Michele to prove that an organized pantry is a possibility (something I didn’t believe until I saw Michele’s pantry!). And since I’ve been known to show the world odd photos of my house. I seriously posted a picture of the cabinet under my sink on a message board once. For no other reason than I was home on maternity leave and the baby was asleep and Debbie dared me to (actually if I remember correctly that day was full of picture-taking assignments…I think I posted pictures of most of my house that day!).
Here, in all it’s glory, is my pantry:
There it is! In all it’s disorganized glory! Looking at these pictures I think, “Boy, we have a ton of alcohol on that top shelf! These people are going to think either I’m an alcoholic or married to one.” I also find myself wondering what exactly is behind those bottles. I don’t think I’ve looked back there for years. For all I know, there could be a colony of mice living back there in nicely constructed 3 bedroom condo. The bins on the second to bottom shelf were part of my attempt to organize my pantry a few years ago. I’ve since given up and have decided there is no hope for my pantry!
